Review: Maybelline Color Whispers

I've been seeing a lot of hype about the new(ish) Maybelline Color Whisper lippies over the past couple months. Naturally, I was intrigued. While I do love a good quality opaque lipstick, I am partial to a nice sheer wash of colour for every day wear. Spring is just around the corner and when the display rack caught my eye, that's exactly what the shades reminded me of, spring! I scoured the display, searching for the perfect shade and decided on Lust For Blush because I had seen that Amarixe from youtube had raved about it. As soon as I got home I tried it out and instantly fell in love. Since then I have picked up two more shades and love both of them as well. These are perfect for on-the-go, definitely a must have for your purse when you're at work or running errands.

Lust For Blush is perfectly named. It's a beautiful rosy pink shade. Great for every day.

Pin Up Peach is a sheer but virant pinky/coral colour. I think this would look good on almost every skin tone.

Petal Rebel is a bright bubble gummy pink. This colour just screams spring!

Overall, I'm loving all three and I'm pretty sure I'll be adding a few more to my collection. Though they are a sheer lipstick, the colour payoff is still really great! Plus, I love the fact that the packaging shows which colour it is so you don't have to search very hard to find which one your are looking for!
 If you're looking to update you makeup collection for spring, I would definitely suggest picking up a couple of these!
